'Hey! Wait up!'
His breath got thinner as his lungs started to burn. His stomach churned, threatening to eject whatever that was still in it. His legs became heavy. He did not stop.
Its been 5 years and he had finally found her. He wasnt going to let her escape again.
'Stop right there!'
He shouted once again as she disappeared into the crowd.
'No!'
Desperation filled him. He started to lose sight of her as the crowd swallowed her in. All the questions raced through his mind as he searched for her shadows amidst the crowd.
What had happened to his brother? What about his nephew? The key to all his questions was right in front of him. He just had to find her.
With adrenaline was pumping and his heart racing, he made his way into the crowd, shoving aside whatever that was obstructing his way.He moved slowly in the direction she ran off to, his heart sinking deeper with each step.
Suddenly he caught a glimsp of pink amidst the crowd. That has got to be her characteristic bright pink hairdo. Hope rised through his mind. He summoned the last of his strength and swam through the crowd, towards the pink target.

Longing
It's 4.30am.
Anne arose to the wailing of the baby. She turned in bed, only to be faced with nothing. Dave was overseas attending yet another seminar.
Amidst the overwhelming sense of longing, she felt a tinge of resentment. She loved Dave deeply, but hated his job as much. She resented the fact the she had to give up her dream for the family while Dave gets to chase his. She resented the fact that she had to put up with a mandune job and deal with the kid while Dave gets to travel the world. As these thoughts flooded her mind, she was overcomed by hopelessness. Soon, she found herself tearing up.Frustrated, she got out of bed, wiped the resentment away and hurried to the baby. She knew she had to stop her thoughts from snowballing. She did not want her marriage to become the regret of her life.
As she tended to the baby, she found herself wishing he was by her side.

Healing the spirit
'Clap'
He jolted to his feet as the sudden impact hit his head.
'You alright sir?'
He looked around and saw an anxious person in a shirt which stated 'lifeguard', shouting at him.
'Yea.'
He shouted back.
'Please do not do that again!'
The anxious man shouted back at him.
He gave the guy a nod, took the swim board and waded his way to the pool ladder.
'Here, I believe this is yours. Sorry for the scare.'
He passed the swim board to the anxious man and walked off to the changing room.
It was a sunny monday afternoon and he had taken the day off to head to the pool.Swimming had always helped to clear his mind. But this time, it didnt seem to work.
After the usual swim, he closed his eyes, took a deep breathe and let his body float on the water, feeling the movement of the water as other swimmers move passed him.It was amazing. Calmness washed over him as the noise begun to be drowned by the silence of the water surrounding him. That was until the anxious man came along.
He made a mental note to never do that at a public pool again, while drying himself off, smiling to himself, for the first time since he could remember.

The Wait
Alice looked away from the book held up in her face, finally acknowleding that she has lost the battle against her wandering mind. She took a glance at her watch while bring the glass to her mouth, only to discover, all that was left were a bunch of melting ice cubes clinking in the glass. Her hands reached into her purse, retrieving a pocket mirror with which she checked herself for the umpteen time.
They were to meet at 11am, at the food oulet where they usually hanged out. She has just return from a trip to the other side of earth and had resisted the urge to meet him after touching down. She had decided that she was not ready to see him after a long, weary 12 hour flight.
Somehow, she found herself at the table an hour early. And time had seemed to passed ever so slowly since she took the seat.
As she waited for her glass to be refilled, her mind started to wander again. How would she react when she finally saw him? How would he react? They have only been keeping in touch through emails for the past year. She started to wonder if he looked any different. And, would he recognise her?
She had playback this very scene in her mind from the day his first email came.
She would set up a meeting. He would come in just on time. His lean body, naturally messy hair, never failing to look relaxed. He would look around, spot her and walk over. He would then smile to her while taking his seat. She would then take a breath and tell him all the feeling that she had kept to herself for the past year. She would then hope for the best and react accordingly.
This was going to be her first confession and it had taken her forever to be ready for it.
She had rehearsed her speech while dreaming of this scene throughout the night as she laid in bed, waiting for the sunrise.
As she was buried in her thoughts, the bell on the door shook. He entered thereafter.
Just as she had imagined it, he entered at 11am, smiled at her and took his seat.
The moment has began...

爱与不爱
后果如天地
如何选择
却不简单
这些感情
深藏好久
不敢面对的情感
埋伏了真正的自己
面对真我
比想像中困难
套上的面具
渐渐难以摘下

impatient
sick of life's routine motion
gettin impatient at the prospects, never fulfilled
what can i do
to break free from this cycle
and dive straight into life?

time
1 month of fun
1 month of joy
whatever happened to my 1 month worth of time?
my 'to-do' list has been created so many moons ago
yet none have been checked while the clean sheet remains buried on my table
was supposed to have fun
was supposed to learn some
was supposed to do all these and so much more
but what happened to my month worth of time?!

but what happened to my month worth of time?!
love!?
hormones raging
pheromones binding
emotions of the mind activatin
and you're feelin in love
how long would this last?
how long can your mind stay 'high'?
what would you do after the feeling dies?
break it? break up? get a fresh start!
start anew? search for a new high?
what happen to 'forever'?
where's the 'ever-lasting' crap we dreamt of?
all in the head?
all in the crap we promised while we were high
what now?
things we promised, things we did before.
do they not count?
are they just memories lined with dust,
destined to be buried in the back of that dark attic?
what happen to 'forever'?
where's the 'ever-lasting' crap we dreamt of?
i say we have all been tricked into takin this drug of love
i say most of us dont have a clue on how to deal with it
i say we shouldnt listen to their crap

feelin's of emptiness
nothin's goin according to the plan
nothin's goin your way
end of the road?
once again
change of plans?
once again?!

end of the road?

dreams
lofty dreams
would u achieve?
childhood dreams
the future looked so bright back then.
reality soon set in
lost sight?or despair?
u started to drift through life
whatever happened to the bright future u dreamt of?
get up
start planning
acting to actually acheive what u've been dreamin off
all these time just thinkin off

dreamt.
Dreamt
So many dreams i dreamt
So many awesome plans
Yet here i am
20 years into my life
With nothin in my name
Every night i toss and turn
Thinkin and dreamin of my next step
Only to wake up to
Another wasteful day.
Procrastination?.

adulthood?
used to know what i wanted
used to have a plan
but as adulthood creeps closer,
im losing all i've planned
im getting impatient
for there are so much desires
which i still cant fulfil
even as im reaching adulthood
i find myself having not a cent to my name
im realising that i've been living off the folks
this took me too long to see.
tis the reason i see
there is no call for celebration
even as i step into the long waited 21
for i've lived in this world for so long
and yet havent done a thing
im losing sight of what i used to think life is about
and im losing the will to live
this old routine life
its boring me out.
maybe its time to look to religion
in an attempt to seek
the purpose of me being on earth
used to have a plan
but as adulthood creeps closer,
im losing all i've planned
im getting impatient
for there are so much desires
which i still cant fulfil
even as im reaching adulthood
i find myself having not a cent to my name
