times like this makes me wish my english was better

He jolted to his feet as the sudden impact hit his head.
'You alright sir?'
He looked around and saw an anxious person in a shirt which stated 'lifeguard', shouting at him.
'Yea.'
He shouted back.
'Please do not do that again!'
The anxious man shouted back at him.
He gave the guy a nod, took the swim board and waded his way to the pool ladder.
'Here, your board. Sorry for the scare.' He passed the swim board to the anxious man and walked off to the changing room.
It was a sunny monday afternoon and he had taken the day off to head to the pool.
Swimming had always helped to clear his mind. But this time, it didnt seem to work.
After the usual swim, he closed his eyes, took a deep breathe and let his body float on the water, feeling the movement of the water as other swimmers move passed him.
It was amazing. Calmness washed over him as the noise begun to be drowned by the silence of the water surrounding him.
That was until the anxious man came along.
He made a mental note to never do that at a public pool again, while drying himself off, smiling to himself, for the first time since he could remember.
